woodblock: mokuhanga
These limited edition prints are created hand and slight variances could exist. Each print is numbered and each print should be considered an original.
rorschach series
This woodblock print explores the contrast of methodically planned layered lines that overlap each other with darker amorphic shapes that feel almost painterly and relieves the tension of rigid form.
miniprints
These prints were part of a series using the same color palette and inspired by the principles and elements of design.
brush
Inspired by one of my Asian brush paintings, this mini-print captures the spontaneity of the pigment reacting to water pooling on the woodblock right before it is printed.

silver mica II series
These prints contain a progression of bands advancing from wide to narrow, textured to solid, lighter to dark. The prints play with the interaction of water, nori, and watercolor to create gomazuri, a Japanese printing technique that means “sesame seed.”
silver mica series
These prints were designed with overlapping lines and degrees of texture and intensity of color to create rhythm thru repetition. They also contain gomazuri, a Japanese printing technique that obtains its result by varying the amount of water and nori to achieve the effect.
woodblock: monotypes
These prints are all hand-printed on a woodblock matrix using watercolor and sumi ink and are all one-of-a-kind.
diffusion series
The ink is used in several gradations and intensities to mimic how water filters thru sediment.
