woodblock: mokuhanga

These limited edition prints are created hand and slight variances could exist. Each print is numbered and each print should be considered an original.

rorschach series

This woodblock print explores the contrast of methodically planned layered lines that overlap each other with darker amorphic shapes that feel almost painterly and relieves the tension of rigid form.

miniprints

These prints were part of a series using the same color palette and inspired by the principles and elements of design.

silver mica II series

These prints contain a progression of bands advancing from wide to narrow, textured to solid, lighter to dark. The prints play with the interaction of water, nori, and watercolor to create gomazuri, a Japanese printing technique that means “sesame seed.”
